As a financial planner and marketing manager for IFP Chesapeake, Ashley works diligently to support you throughout the financial planning process. She helps collect data to prepare financial plans, conducts research, updates client records, and handles administrative tasks. In addition, she spearheads our social media efforts to create a stronger presence for the firm.
Ashley graduated from Old Dominion College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. A firm believer in continuing education, Ashley obtained the series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as the Life and Health insurance certification.
Through her prior roles as the social media manager and president of her sorority, she has cultivated essential leadership and communication skills that she can seamlessly apply to her role here at IFP Chesapeake.
As a social media manager, Ashley crafted impactful content, interpreted data analytics, and engaged with diverse audiences, all directly transferable to financial planning, where clear communication and simplifying complex information are paramount.
Moreover, Ashley’s tenure as president of her sorority equipped her with proficiency in budgeting, event coordination, and prudent decision-making, fostering strategic thinking and resource management. These experiences collectively underscore her ability to allocate funds, evaluate risks and opportunities, and devise long-term financial strategies, which are integral skills for pursuing a career as a financial planner.
Outside the office, Ashley finds solace and a creative outlet in drawing to unwind after a long day at work. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, creating lasting memories. Whether going out for a meal, watching a movie, or simply chatting and catching up, she treasures quality time spent with loved ones.
